Pin Seeking

The Harry Potter Pin Seeking collection

Beautiful merch meets powerful fan engagement

A run-away commercial success

The Pin Seeking collection is a collectable series of enamel pins, conceived and designed by the Wizarding World Digital team.
It sold well over 14,000 units and made over $250k in just 4 months. Many designs sold out in a matter of hours, and some limited edition designs were resold for over 10x the price. Truly avid fans sought out every pin in the collection.

Drove additional revenue

As well as a stand alone commercial success, we also created an e-commerce halo effect. Pin collectors bought more, spending on average $8 in addition to their pin purchase.

Powerful fan engagement

They also drove repeat digital engagement via Enchanted Key markers that unlocked exclusive content within the Harry Potter Fan Club app.
Perhaps most importantly, across the collection of 60+ individual designs, created constantly delightful and inventive pins. We harnessed the power of design to create products that are irresistibly collectable.

Dumbledore Pin Set packaging

Gram-worthy packaging

We created special packaging for our boxed pin sets with integrated magnets and cork pinboards. These features allowed boxes to be snapped together into unique displays.

Irresistibly collectable

We used a range of material techniques to create stand out collectables that consistently surprised and delighted fans. Designs included special finishes, moving parts, layered and three dimensional designs. This, combined with markers of rarity and a limited edition strategy urged users to complete their collection.
